VerticalResponse’s social media integration
Recently, self-service direct marketing company, VerticalResponse acquired social media marketing company, Roost and in under a month, they have already begun integrating Roost features into their platform designed to help small businesses with affordable marketing.
First, they have added a “Conversations” feature where users can view and respond to Facebook and Twitter comments from within the Roost by VerticalResponse dashboard which saves users time by not having to individually and separately log into those services to manage those accounts. Additionally, users can now include LinkedIn as one of their networks, expanding the social media offering of the system.
Also, the company has built a “quotes” library into their suggested content area to offer relevant quotes for use in marketing campaigns, and they have added new content feeds from blogs and other websites, serving as inspiration for marketing content.
VerticalResponse also introduced several free email newsletter designs to its library of more than 700 free templates. The new, fully editable templates feature customizable social media icons, call-to-action buttons and table of contents.
“Our goal with every new feature release is to introduce new functionalities that have immediate benefits to our customers from both a technology and ease-of-use perspective,” said Janine Popick, VerticalResponse CEO. “This latest release accomplishes this and more.”
