Handiwork sets Freelancers free
If you freelance, you know how hard it is to maintain a steady, reliable, source of income from your work. You struggle to find work, compete for work, and get paid for your work. And as an employer, you struggle to find the right freelancer for the job, while staying within your budget, and meeting all your project deadlines.
Handiwork training is aimed at freelance designers, writers, and marketers who want to secure their income stability and find time to work on your favorite projects. Handiwork was designed by freelancers, for freelancers, in order to provide extensive frameworks, worksheets, and mindmaps to guide to learning (think: fully guided tutorial with perks).
Handiwork’s training will show you how to best leverage the skills and expertise you already own into something more viable. It helps you build a framework that can be facilitated further into an ebook, book, video training, or mini consulting with pre-made templates. For example, say you run a very successful app developing business; you could create an ebook or video giving out tips, troubleshooting, and common mistakes other developers would want to know, then, Handiwork to put your skills to work for you.
Once you have built your product, you will be able to find and audience through Handiwork’s resources, build desire, and share it with the world because Handiwork will build partnerships for you by creating a platform to broadcast your message, along with personalized promotions, and a product launch customized to your needs.
Other implications of Handiwork
While it is primarily for freelancers, I could also see Handiwork being used in conjunction with any marketing products to enhance the amount of traffic you see. As well as, being used by employers to produce internal videos showcasing what their company does, either for clients or future employees. When searching for a new freelancer, you could have a video for them ready to go, detailing what should be done and even how it has been done in the past.
Handiwork is in Beta and is set to launch some time in January 2014. If you sign up now, you can build up your mindmap and be the first to know when Handiwork is fully launched.
