Vimeo is schooling budding videographers
Vimeo Video School has recently launched as a “fun place for anyone to learn how to make better videos.” The site offers video lessons and tutorials like the one above, created to instruct on improvement on any videographer’s skills from starters to professionals.
We have long advocated for professional real estate videography over Blair Witch Project-esque novice videos filmed with dated cell phones. We have been spotlighting quality real estate video talent in the industry and continue to press the issue as video is rising in prominence, with 600 videos uploaded every 60 seconds to YouTube alone.
If you currently shoot your own video due to budget restraints or you’re a serious do-it-yourselfer, we encourage educating yourself on shooting higher quality video to better serve your clients.

Great bunch of tutorials. I think video for listings and local interest is one of the most important and overlooked methods for real estate agents to improve the quality of their listings and demonstrate local knowledge.
