Award winning concept
Harvard Graduate School of Design graduate, Greg Tran says 3D is currently confused with a digital 2D representation that appears to the eye as a third dimension, but is not. His award winning thesis, Mediating Mediums is demonstrated above and gives hints as to how augmented reality could be used not only in architectural design, but perhaps in how buildings can digitally interact with people in the future.
Tran pushes the idea that 3D is nowhere near reaching its potential, as he aims for mediums to be mediated in more extensive ways that modern technology even allows, making user interaction so much more than a four inch iPhone screen.
