Appogee Leave updates it’s suite of tools

Appogee Leave announces an update to its management tools, including integration with GMail and Google Calendar. Appogee is one of the most frequently downloaded absence management tools in the Google Apps Marketplace, so you may have heard of it, if not, it is another potential tool for the “management toolbox.”

Appogee Leave is a dedicated online system that provides a simple way for managers and employees to manage all types of absences (holiday, sickness, vacation, etc.) requests and approvals, eliminating the management of endless paper forms. With Leave’s most recent update, including: a new dashboard, new User Interface, and access to wide range of reports; it is even better. The new dashboard integrates the pending requests with the necessary Calendar information needed to asses whether or not the request is feasible. The User Interface received a new classic, clean feel and is very easy to navigate; making it easy for your employees to find what they need quickly. Managers now have the ability to build their own custom reports with this update, as well as, access a wider range of default reports.

Line managers can use Leave to manage team time-off and sickness through the Google Team Calendar. Your management team will also save time, because Leave offers a one- click approval process, sending your automatic email notification when someone requests time off. Also, by managing your absences online, paperwork is eliminated; along with the frustration of trying to find who turned what request in and when. Everything is readily available online.

Spend less time on scheduling

HR managers will like Leave because they can automatically track employees’ leave and sickness status, without hunting down paperwork. Also, by putting the power to request and manage their own leave, you reduce the burden of the HR department.

Employees can log in and request time-off at any time through the app, as well as viewing any leave they have remaining. They can also see who is currently on leave via the Google Calendar. This saves your team the hassle of being asked “do I have any time left?” and “when can I get off work?” employees can answer these questions themselves.

The takeaway: David McLeman, CEO at Appogee explained: “With the new year fast approaching, the new report builder, management dashboard and simplified user-interface allow our customers to spend more time being productive, and less time administering paper forms and spreadsheets.”
