Outlook add-in for productivity
Most Realtors using Outlook and Gmail use third party applications to sync contacts or from time to time manually exporting contacts from one to the other or using other tools to make them go back and forth.
To save time and add productivity, Outlook4Gmail, a free add-in for Outlook which allows you to synchronize Outlook contacts with unlimited Google contacts live and once set up, you let it go and don’t have to fool around with it again.
The add-in cleans up duplicates and has garnered mostly positive reviews online and doesn’t take much tech savviness to get set up and it’s one less thing to worry about.
Contact management is a major hassle in real estate and is one of the skills many lack, but with a toolbox filled with tools that simplify the process, you definitely have an edge. A rising number of agents are balancing Gmail and Outlook as both have advantages, but connecting the dots between the two can be a complicated, slow and potentially flawed process.
If you’re using Outlook and Gmail, do yourself a favor and download Outlook4Gmail and forget about any more manual labor so you can focus less on organization and more on customer service and lead generation.

as of July 19, 2011 this Outlook-to-gmail synch is working OK with MS Outlook 2007. I was previously using Kigoo, which stopped working after a recent Microsoft update.

Just downloaded to use with my HTC EVO 4G. I use Outlook 2003. Using this add-in program for Outlook along with Google Calendar Sync, I now have seamless integration between my Outlook and my EVO. Yeah!

I see all the positive comments and couldn't wait to get started. After downloading and following the instructions, I get 2 different error messages. One is that there are no contacts and the other is gmail account failed to connect. Any suggestions. I am using Outlook 2007.

I seem to have a problem with my contacts email's "Display as:" After syncing, they all changed to say "work," "home,"…not "John Doe (email@domain.com)."
I'm using Outlook 2007.

I just found this page and really want to try the plugin, but it seems as if the developer's website is down. Does anyone know of a mirror site where I can download it from?
Thank You!!

As mentioned by David, all contacts' display name changes to "work" in Outlook. I suggest this app to a client but i had to uninstall it due to this problem. Instead i downloaded another freeware Contacts Sync from pppindia.com/contacts-sync/ and it does the job in a simple way.

My operating system is Windows 7 Home Premium with Outlook 2007. My options tab does not have the tabs shown in your illustration–no gmail or add-ins. Does that mean I can't use this add-in?

Doesn't work for me. Synched one contact, then stopped and wouldn't sync anymore. PPIndia 'Contacts Sync' said it was synching but never actually loaded anything to the gmail account. Very frustrated.
