You Got a Discount- So We Only Work Part-Time… Redfinned.
Redfin announced last night that it will not be taking any listings between now and July 9 because “continuing to take new listings would strain our ability to offer our customers great service.”Those interested in listing their homes with Redfin in the limited areas in which it operates are free to send in the listing paperwork but it appears the listings won’t become active until after July 9.
I am sure this is reaction to the bad press Redfin received this past week regarding not returning calls to offering buyer agents. Insanity. These sellers won’t get these precious summer weekends back.

Is it because they are so busy stamping out all the fires? What is the loss to the property owners who did not receive the offers on their property? How many buyers went somewhere else?
The old adage “You get what you pay for” may apply here….
However, in fairness, redfin has put together a great search tool with the ability to sort. So, while they may be a great search tool for consumers it seems to end there.
