In Vermont, each real estate office has the ability to either allow or disallow blogging about the listings that are in the system posted by that specific firm. As I understand it, IDX and syndication is one thing, but blogging is another with our MLS agreements and associations here. This also makes me wonder if there have been backlashes from the seller, the listing agent, or their real estate commission regarding derogatory comments on another agent's listings. But other than slander and privacy issues, I'm not sure really what the boundaries ARE so therefore am probably a little more timid about listed property online, knowing that a firm that has an exclusive right to market should really be the only one actually marketing the property.
