A Perfect Sky Blue
Talk about creativity, this billboard for Berger Paints has it. In part of a campaign titled, Natural Colours, a live painter appeared to be painting the blue of the sky onto the billboard. It was achieved by cutting out strips that are the actual shape and size of the roller strokes. This is stop-in-your-tracks advertising. You can see a “zoom-in” version here.

I had to look at it to get it. Very clever. It is memorable too. some ads are so clever that I am distracted and don’t remember what the product is, just the ad.
