Real estate bloggers unite for one of their own
Blogger hospitalized
Joe Ferrara, founder of Sellsius and theClozing.com has recently been hospitalized in the intensive care unit with a malignant brain tumor. Joe who is also a lawyer is well known in the real estate blogging world for his advocacy of first amendment rights and his aggressive defense of free speech.
As word spread about Ferrara’s condition, several real estate bloggers have stepped up to help the Ferrara family in their time of need, especially with the cost of medical bills which are always daunting with incidents like this. Proving once again the strength of the real estate blogging community, bloggers unite for one of their own. Prayers are being requested and a fund has been set up by Jay Thompson to assist the Ferrara family:
On a personal note, we have known Joe for several years and we’ve called upon each other for advice and ideas on various projects and know Joe to be a very strong person. We ask you to consider helping in your own ways, and we extend our own thoughts and prayers to Joe and his wife.

Thanks for helping to spread the word Lani. Joe is one of the nicest, smartest and most genuine people I’ve ever had the honor to know. He is truly a world-class human being. It’s nice to see the community rally around him. I know his wife Sandra appreciates it too.
Agree with Jay, I really think Joe has touched each and every one of us in some form. He is beyond special and everyone in the real estate blogging world should have the opportunity to give back.
Thank you guys!

This is crushing. The few times I met Joe he has always been generous and kind with a great sense of humor. As Jim said – one of the original good guys.
Thoughts and prayers to Joe and his family. Hopefully he can feel strength from the energy of those around him who care so much.
God bless Joe!
