WE used to pay local association dues and MLS Fees as one set amount, we now pay association dues what was paid for both and same amount for MLS
I feel for what we are getting out of the NAR, FAR, and Local Board we should be getting MLS for Free and if they raise the NAR dues they should be giving free Real Estate education to its members not us getting it from outside of the Associations and the MLS telling us what, where, how and when to do? We pay the MLS and we have to follow their rules and pay their fines that I feel should be set by the NAR and Boards of Real Estate of each state for we are Independent contractors for tax reasons only. Code of Ethics and MLS should be as one guideline for all realtors and associates to adhere too.
