Quick Technology Tip- Easily Share a List of Links
New free service makes life easier- wanna know how/why?

New service Linklist allows users to create and share lists of links quickly and easily without even signing up for an account (although it’s a good idea if you plan on using the service frequently), then gives you one link to share with others (and that link has various sharing options once opened).
For example, I threw together a list of 10 funny links I wanted to share and saved it. Here is what it looks like:

How this applies to a Realtor’s practice:
One way to use Linklist is if you have a client coming in from out of town and they’re lookie lous. They think they want to see all 1,293 active listings in your city, but you’ve narrowed it down to 20 and they think they want to take a personal tour of every single potential match. Instead, before they get on that plan, compile a list of all of their matches on Linklist, tell Linklist to be an “ordered list” (so it has numbers) and allow it to have links added by users so they can say “you’re right, #11-19 are crap, let’s focus on the first ten and here are 12 more I might want to see.”
Another way I can see this being useful (and a more likely option) is to create a list of 10 articles from your blog that all people considering a move should read. This one link and easy interface make it much simpler to email your subscriber list and pull them in (plus they’ll be really impressed by how tech savvy you are). After creating the list, it can be shared on social networks and there is even an embedding code option (which saves you the time of all the copy/paste action it takes to create a list).
The uses are endless. How do YOU see yourself using LinkList?

Lani:
Nice find!
I’ve done this exact thing in the past for my out of towners.
I did it “full manual” by making a new blank web page on my site with google maps and links all over it.
It was way more time consuming than LinkList.
Thinking I could use this when new agents join our office, a quick to do list with the links to the most important sites. THANKS Lani!!
Good post and commentary. I think Realtors internet marketing is great but people
are getting way to caught up with it and think that if you
are great at blogging and marketing…the $$ just rolls in.
Alexis… wait, what? I’m not seeing the correlation between what I wrote and a promise of riches…
Hi Lani,
Since Alexis is off topic, I will follow suit. How do we upload our picture?
Good informative post BTW!
