Digital pen of the future
Ehsan Sayyad has designed a concept digital pen that is breaking the mold of computing. The Chromopen is shaped like a standard ballpoint pen to remain intuitive and make maneuvering the pen as easy as possible, in fact, part of the design is to make the user feel that they are using a standard pen.
But this is no standard pen, the Chromopen has a pinhole camera and one of the tiniest display screens you’ll ever see, and the pen snaps a photo of any object to derive the exact color of that object. Artists can use it in painting on a tablet as a modern medium, interior designers can find inspiration while in the field and capture the exact color for their clients and designs, while home builders can capture a specific tile color they want to order to ensure they get a consistent product.
