You know you’ve made it when folks develop opinions about you, and you know you’ve shaken some trees when those opinions become passionate.  Whatever opinion you have of  Brad Inman, you cannot say he isn’t motivated, innovative, and damn savvy when it comes to the business of startups- the guy is just on it.

Brad began as a syndicated real estate columnist with the San Francisco Examiner, launched his first newspaper, and went on to Launch Inman News in 1996, delivering real-time real estate stories to more than 50,000 newspapers and websites.

This wasn’t enough for Brad as he went on to launch Homegain.com, agent lead generation powerhouse that sold in 2005.  With Inman News, and Inman Connect, the twice a year technology conference, Brad somehow found time in 2005-06 to launch Turn Here where they create broadcast-quality online videos with an established  network of more than 2000 professional filmmakers worldwide, raising $7.5 million in first-round funding from Venrock and Hearst Interactive Media in February 2008.

Which brings us to Vook.com where passion meets video, books, and the internet, where Brad is working to bring books to life.  When you look at the incredible growth of Kindle, Crunchpad, and other readers, along with the insane popularity of video in general, it’s easy to see the amazing potential in Vook.com.

Brad’s career as an entrepreneur is not only rich in history, but deep with passion.  So as I said in the opening, regardless of whatever opinion Brad has ignited, Bradley Inman possesses entrepreneurial spirit that inspires.
