Blog Action Day

what is Blog Action Day? On October 15, all bloggers across the world are asked to unite by blogging about the same topic. This will happen each fall and for this year, the topic is “the environment.”

Yahoo Better Planet

I read about ways I could make the world better and pledged to do what was in my power to help Mother Earth (wouldn’t ex-stepmom be proud?). I clicked exit and ventured on with life.

Drew Myers brought a fantastic opportunity to life in the comments yesterday regarding what inspires him:

WORLD CHANGING

We spend our time with our peers and people who think like us and do many of the same things we do. While the web provides us a wonderful medium to meet like minded people on the other end of the world, NoonHat demonstrates that we can leverage the web at the local level. We can change the world.

What inspires me? Helping others educate themselves and improve their business/life in the process. Along the same lines — micro finance, which you’ll see me blogging more about in the future on my own blog.

Jay Thompson hasn’t really figured out that his humanity is laced in almost every word he utters. My personal respect for Jay goes far beyond that of a Realtor. One must look no further than his catch a pervert image on his site or read his posts to know that he cares:

What inspires me? I like to learn, and help others learn. Granted, some (maybe much) of what I post doesn’t do that… …I want my readers (particularly prospective client readers) to get to know me.

Greg Swann

Greg Swann gets kudos for sharing how he innovates his own listings and adds value to the service he offers his clients. Greg has a knack for raising the bar and when he offers ideas you see the comments pile up.
