Sellsius asks tough questions- Zillow Truth By Association
Sellsius has gone after Zillow.com several times, but I thought this was worth bringing back…. how naive are we?
“Zillow’s inaccuracy may be
painfullyplainly appreciated on Zillow.com but as the zestimate starts popping up on Yahoo, Prudential and other respected real estate professionals’ websites, will it then gain an air of authenticity, accuracy and reliability? Will zestimates be rendered true by association?”

HomeGain recently relaunched its homevaluation tool after over a half a decade of dormancy.
HomeGain had the original instant free homevaluation tool back in 1999! What Zillow is doing is not new, innovative and is perhaps misleading.
Unlike Zillow who claims to be the “Kelly’s Blue Book” of home valuations, HomeGain makes no such claims and indeed provides a range of valuations instead of a precise quote and encourages the consumer and provides the ability to contact a Realtor to get a professional estimate.
