[...] Jay Thompson did it. How many others that I don’t know about? Isn’t this progression the logical manifestation of blogging, a medium that requires independent thinking and thereby builds an online brand? Certainly, brokerages offer other value to agents than branding, but good agents going independent seems like a nice counter-trend to the intense consolidation of the major franchises. Way to go!
Congratulation and best wishes Jay. A broker with heart and talent. Flowers can grow in the desert.
Best of Luck to Jay and Francy in their new business venture!
Congrats to Jay and Francy. I am glad to see they are stepping out on their own where they can accomplish more.
Jay – Congratulations. May you be blessed.
Alright Jay! Congrats and best wishes for the future.
Well thanks folks! I appreciate all the kind words and wishes. It’ll be a couple of weeks before the state bureaucratic wheels finish spinning and we’re fully separated from the C21 mothership.
Starting a new brokerage in this market may seem silly to some, but it’s the right time for us.
Much more to come!
Congrats Jay! While I hate to see you leave the brand, I’m positive you will be successful in your endeavor.
Congrats, Jay. Let me know when you plan to expand Virginia-ward.
Congrats guys! An idea whose time has come.
Congrats Jay!!
Congrats! Jay… yeah to freedom and free thinking!!!!!
Jay – Congrats – I know you’ll be very successful in any market!! Keep us posted.
Good move. You’ll never regret it.
Congratulations Jay…I can’t think of a better time to take that step forward. I look forward to the website makeover…sorry to remind you about that but it will all be worth it. Great thing with the name of course is that your URL will still be in play.
All my best to you and Francy, H.
You guys rock. Your support and encouragement mean a lot to Francy and me.
Jay, Good luck! Now is a great time to be in real estate, the future is bright for Thompsons Realty.
Hey Jay,
Congratulations on being “on your own”.
Cheers!
Congratulations Jay and best wishes on your new baby, I mean company! Watch out Phoenix brokerages!
Congratulations Jay! You just never know what a little luck and a lot of hard work will produce. I’m looking forward to great things from you (both)!
Jay… I wish you all the best. Really.
I don’t know much about C21… but, I wonder if you checked out Keller Williams? I know of a number of big companies that decided, eventually, to build their company within the infrastructure of KW due to the excellent models, mastermind groups, training, etc. etc.
Keller Williams is phenomenal in allowing and actually supporting you in so many ways to “build your company” within their infrastructure…
One guy that has done this is Pat Hiban (www.pathiban.com) … his “company” turns over $200 million a year. When you’re that size you can do what you want… so, ask yourself, why does he stay with Keller Williams? I have many more examples. I bet Gary Keller himself would love to talk to you about your decision!
Wooo Hoo! Great news. Congrats Jay and Francy.
Looks like I’m late to the party on this one. I’m psyched for you both to begin this thing and I’m looking forward to seeing what comes next from you. Best wishes for success from Columbus.
Congratulations, Jay! I hope that everything will work just fine for you and I hope that I will hear as soon as posible news about you.
