TinyPaste.com- Tool For the Wordy Types

TinyPaste.com is a new tool that allows users to type unlimited text into a box, convert it into a very short url and share it on social media sites like Twitter that limit users’ message lengths. This concept is awesome and clearly born from the TinyURL site. I have a hard time fitting updates into 140 characters on Twitter and *hate* having to put a serious message into 5 separate direct messages, so as an example of its use, here’s my first tinypaste!

Awesome! Look forward to giving it a go!
Amazing tool you always find the best stuff:)
OK OK — this time I’ll save and use it.
This looks like a really cool tool to know about – thanks for the info.
I love it! The ways we find to say more
Isn’t this cheating? Why can’t you just follow the rules like everyone else?
Nifty find! I’d have to believe that Twitter will eventually move beyond 140 characters, but at least this gives a work around for now.
Thank Goodness – Size really doesn’t matter !
Bill, you sure do have a way with words.
Jennifer, I don’t think it will move past 140 characters because it is the fundamental reason Twitter is so successful- the wordiness is optional. It’s a platform built for quick snippets (and I’m convinced it’s designed for those of us with ADD)!
Lisa, don’t you judge me
Paula, I still prefer picture services like twitpic.com to “say more”
Ann, this is a great tool to use while in serious conversation on Twitter or with a client who prefers to communicate via Twitter (yes, they exist).
Jeff, I wish everyone could see your first tinypaste…… too funny…..
Chris, I read a lot of blogs and AG gets a lot of press releases and tech tips, so I can’t take full credit for direct discovery every time
BUT I will take your compliment and go cuddle with it!
Dale, have you tried it yet??
That’s really cool! I wonder if you can use it to text message to people with smart phones? I’m going to try it.
Now see..I do learn things from Real estate agents..very cool!
Barry; See, you can make a post and you and I don’t argue!
B&B, you two are so funny. Lani, that is a great find, thanks. I have to find a way to track and file all these cool things in some orderly fashion.
OMG – I am sooo happy someone was clever enough to come up with this!!! Awesome – now I don’t have to write in code on Twitter that no one can’t decifer!
It kind of cheating when used on twitter, but who cares.
If it works for smart phones that would be really cool…Vicki have you tested it yet?
oooh. I like. I also have a hard time keeping it short on twitter. Guess I am too wordy.

I do not twitter and I’ve been hearing that it may not be such a bad thing that I don’t. I do like the tiny paste tool though! I am wondering what other creative uses there may be.
