If the deal goes through, the smart folks at Microsoft will present real competition to Google. Should Yahoo start to steal some of Google&#039;s share of the market, it could open the door for people to start using other search engines as well. If a spark could start in everyone&#039;s brain that there are other search engines beside Google, the fall of Google would at least be possible. They have almost a monopoly on the search engine market, which isn&#039;t good for anyone. It&#039;s hard to rank in Google.
