Looking At All The Angles

So Real Estate Connect is coming up at the end of the month. I’ve been wanting to go since I surfed out news of the very first conference way back when no one in my office knew what I was talking about. I knew that technology was important and would only become more so. I wanted to learn where we were headed from the very brightest and forward-thinking minds in the industry – the ones at the head of the pack.
Conferences are for learning, gathering the newest information, sharing your best ideas, making connections. As the Connect site says, “…explore some of the most pressing issues the industry is facing.”
When it’s over we’ll be ready for the next frontier of real estate. When we get home we’ll be energized to take on all the challenges put before us. We’re going to digest – Yeah. Yeah. Who cares. I wish it’d hurry up and get here. This diet is killing me.
Start spreading the news...

More importantly, you have the opportunity to buy me a drink. That is what these conferences are all about … the chance to meet me and buy me liquor.
Inman’s just too shy to advertise that aspect …
what the hey! just cuz i’m short doesn’t mean you can’t buy me a drink too. oh did i say i was pretty .>)
oh crap! am I supposed to be dieting?
(am I allowed to say “crap”)??
@ines
only if you don’t have enough money to buy a round of mojitos
There are a TON of conferences I’d like to attend – but time/money is limited. Are you going to be doing any sort of write up after the conference and posting it somewhere of the highlights? [Even some video would be pretty slick to host somewhere.]
Sounds like everyone will have a great time and you can stop the dieting. You can’t diet and drink alcohol at the same time, right?
Jennifer – No doubt there will be a lot of twittering, pictures and video coming out – some may be pay per view. I suggest getting connected with everyone on the sidebar via twitter. I know many of us will be there. I’m sure there will be a lot of posts on AG as well as individual sites.
Larry – Can’t wait.
Ines – If you ask me, you can say anything you want.
Paula – I guess it depends on what kind of diet you’re on.
pay-per-view? what kind of conference is this?
It really is in everyone’s benefit to keep me liquored up on this working vacation- I’m WAY entertaining when under the influence! Oh Vicki, we’re such a fun AG family!!
Benn – The good kind.
Lani – Thanks for the warning.
It took my liver a full month to recover from Inman Connect NYC.
My plan is to break that record in SF.
Looking forward to all you knuckleheads buying me drinks!
@Vicki – I’m in for the pay-per-view where do I subscribe?
Jay – we’ll do our best to hammer your liver.
@Everyone First round is on me
@Lani You’re way entertaining without social lubrication – I can’t wait to see the results of THAT!
SO what kind of whacko goes to LA from Philly for Vacation – and THEN flys to SF to play/work for 3 days just to get F@F with his e-folks?
Hint: He loves Ice Cream and Geniuses
Due to money and time I will not be attending, but do know that more is learned in networking sometimes. Everyone enjoy and I will be looking for tweets, posts and video.
Jonathan,
I’ll have to talk to Joel and see if we can work you into the marketing for Connect. I can see it now. . .”Jonathan likes beer, buy him one at Connect!”
To everyone else. . .
I can’t wait to meet all of you in person at Connect SF. I don’t really drink, but if anyone wants to buy me a cigar, I won’t be bashful.
