Bring It On

By the time this is posted it will be 2009; it may even be 2009 before I finish it. I’m really looking forward to a new year and will stay awake to ring it in. Not because it brings great promise or hope, though it does. Not because I have made any monumental resolutions to conquer the Indy real estate market, though I will! At least my portion of it!

I’m ready for a new year so I can beat last year. Unless there was a new year, I wouldn’t have a starting place to begin. Or an ending for that matter, from which to compare.

So let the NEW YEAR begin!

At the end of 2009, I don’t want to be a just a survivor in the real estate arena, NO – I expect to thrive. I also expect many of you will be there with me celebrating a tremendous 2009. Why?

Because we dare!

We dare to try something new and challenge ourselves. We don’t settle for status quo. Average is not an option. We Succeed!

How?

By letting go of our fears. By standing amongst giants in the industry and listening to what they have to say. By working hard, doing what we love. We take chances, we win, we fail, we get up and go at it again. We share and give freely of our time, talent and expertise.

We sincerely care – about our clients, our friends, our profession.

I am grateful and blessed to know each of you, to start this new year with such a talented group of people.

Happy New Year – May it be your best year ever, whatever that means to you!

Happy New Year! We worked all day yesterday and wrote an offer last night. Negotiating it today…hopefully we’ll come together. What a great start to 2009!

I’m pumped for 2009 to begin. I succeeded in ’08 and know I can do it again in ’09. I’ve heard that lots of agents had a great year in ’08, so a lot has to do with attitude. Like Moni above, I received an email today for a listing, and there are two more in the wings when they get back from being snowbirds.

Did you hear the gal on the Today Show actually say that it was a great time to buy a home … if you qualify. We need lots more of those type of reports.

    Happy New Year, neighbor!

It’s a matter of what we expect!

Elaine – I did see the report and yes, we need more like it!
