There’s been a lot of shake, rattle and roll in the real estate industry of late. We had months and months of bubble talk, followed by meltdown mania and of late it’s been mostly repo man.
But there’s a whole other category of people being affected and they need your help – the orphans.
With many Realtors, mortgage brokers and real estate agents throwing in the towel or getting the dreaded pink slip, it should come as no surprise that there are thousands of orphaned clients out there that could use some professional help in this “market of change.”
Orphaned clients may be in a state of shock, not knowing what to do. One day they have an agent or broker and the next day that person or company is history. Orphans could be wandering the streets right now in your community needing help, but not knowing where to turn.
Maybe there is some genius we could bring to this situation to help these folks find a home with agents and lenders that are in it for the long-haul – vetted professionals that have seen the good, the bad and the ugly.
If you have an orphan story, please share it and any flashes of genius you might have on how to reach out and help these lost souls.
Writer for national real estate opinion column AgentGenius.com, focusing on the improvement of the real estate industry by educating peers about technology, real estate legislation, ethics, practices and brokerage with the end result being that consumers have a better experience.

“Hello … There is a good chance that yuor previous agent is no longer in the business…”
